AVE22 MetaGallery is delighted to invite artists to take part in “AI Battle” open call.

OVERVIEW

Artificial intelligence (AI) is gradually becoming an integral part of our lives. Indeed, it is a source of fun to many people. Visionaries believe that AI will help us to work out eternal problems of the mankind. Others are sure that AI is a start of the way to nowhere, towards a digital apocalypse and global dystopia.

We, as a gallery, would like to ponder on AI from the arts point of view. Will artists be replaced by AI? Will AI destroy the very notion of the arts?

​

What we are going to do is to process the artworks you will provide with an AI service (we are planning to use Kandinsky AI that was unveiled recently). We will ask the AI to make a picture as we state the artwork name and the artist name.

 

At the exhibition we will show your artwork and, next to it, an artwork made by AI.

ELIGIBILITY

Artists have to be over 21 years old.

We will be processing artworks saved as image files, so any medium could be proposed as long as it could be represented by an image.

Please submit 1 or 2 artworks in .jpg or .png format, not more that 9 Mb per artwork.

For non-digital art please submit good quality photos - just as you would like to see them in the gallery.

COPYRIGHT

Artists guarantee that they have created the submitted works and that they hold full and sole ownership for these works.

Artists retains the sole ownership and copyright for the images.

Artists agree that the AVE22 MetaGallery will process their artworks through an AI service. The AVE22 MetaGallery does not gain any rights onto the artworks - any and all rights to the original artworks remain with respective artists. The AVE22 MetaGallery guarantees that outside the exhibition it will not exhibit any AI-processed artworks without a prior consent of the artist who created the original artwork. The exception is only made for screenshots of the exhibition, on which the AI-processed artworks could be shown; these screenshots could be shown without limitation. 

After the end of the exhibition the AVE22 MetaGallery ensures that the works are no longer exhibited at the gallery address first mentioned above.

 

SUBMISSION FEES

Entry is free.

In case your artwork is selected for the exhibition, a $25 participation fee is due to be payable via PayPal.

This covers the costs of the exhibition arrangement and preparation.

Submission fees are non-refundable.

If you are unable to pay the submission fee, we are working at replenishing our collection, so we can accept your work as a gift to the gallery. In this case your work has to be saved as an NFT in Ethereum (ETH) network. 

We have already worked this way with some artists and this format turned out to be very successful.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

1. Please fill in and submit the form at https://forms.gle/n2HbyFWLYqZBWn2eA. The images should be in .jpeg or .png format, each image no larger than 9MB. Please name your artwork images in the format "Your Name_Artwork Title”. In case you have any issue in handing the form, would you please let us know at ave22official@gmail.com.

2. If your artwork is selected for the exhibition, we will send a request for a PayPal payment for $25 at your email.

3. Pay the submission fee with PayPal.
